This transparent crib allows the parents to see the newborn constantly without problems; the transparency prevents the baby from feeling “abandoned” and seeing mummy and daddy and its surroundings provides serenity. Being able to slide a hand into the cradle to comfort the newborn and draw the crib near to the parents’ bed in order to breastfeed more easily are other advantages of this classical design updated with modern, safe and innovative materials.
The Oceano cradle complies with the regulations EN1130-1 and EN1130-2 (cribs and cradles for domestic use), has been tested by the Italian Institute for Toy Safety and is 100% made in Italy.
The paints used comply with the EN 71.3 and the REACH Regulations.
The sides are in transparent methacrylate 100% recyclable.
It is easy to assemble with only a few “hidden” screws thanks to a patented system.

The anti-mite and anti-suffocation LAIT BABY mattress (cm 38 x 80 x 5,5 high) with removable cover is included. It is orthopedic and anallergic due to the internal anti-mite plastic foam. The external cover is made of soft anti-mite, anti- bacterial, anti-mycotic fabric thanks to the Ultra Fresh treatment recommended by specialists in case of allergies to mites and that can stand up to 40 washes. It is easy to remove whenever necessary and is machine washable at 60°. The mattress has been produced with tested materials and complies with safety regulations including the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for the absence of harmful substances in textiles and padding materials.
No bumper pads are provided with the Oceano crib as they would block the full vision which the product offers. Moreover, these pads only reduce to a certain extent the risk of bumps but increase the risk of suffocation and entanglement, and can attract dust and mites according to a recent guideline by the European Commission (L.170/39 published in the Official Journal of the European Union of 06.07.2010) prior to the necessary modification of the product. It is possible to use a reduction cushion in the Oceano cradle, thus preventing bumps against the sides while creating the feeling of well-being and protection which helps baby to rest.
